Global Professional Consulting organized and hosted a group of Russian professionals – doctors, professors and educators in the field of psychology for individuals with mental and physical disabilities. The program had an educational agenda, and the group visited various non-profit organizations and academic facilities to learn and exchange practical knowledge and establish basis for future professional collaboration.
Places of visit include Manhattan College, LETC – League Education and Treatment Center, LAND Gallery – League Artist Natural Design, day habilitation program for adult artists with developmental disabilities, BCID – Brooklyn Center for Independence, CIDNY – Center For Independence of the Disabled. As a part of the program, the group also visited New York’s cultural centers such the Metropolitan museum of art, Central Park, City tours.
